Kripto-valuta, Bitcoin among the world's best-known waves, fell to 7 per cent on Monday, to a new level of 2-1/two months of $7 thousand and $599, following growing concerns over a regulatory ban and ban on purchasing digital currency.
Bitcoin's award in the Luksenburg-based Bitstamp exchange has now dropped more than half from a $20000 hit in December. Otherwise Bitcoin, last week has undergone the worst weekly performance since 2013.
The British bank Lloyds Banking Group on Sunday said it was preventing customers from buying Bitcoin using credit cards.
They joined the American banking giants. JPMorgan Chase&Co and Citigroup, who announced similar bans on concerns for lenders to be held accountable when unstable coins sink into value.
