Pacolli's request for Shpend Ahmeti

Placing the Kosovo flag where Albania's flag has been deployed for years was also requested through an online petition.

Meanwhile, Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti says he is not responsible for returning the flag of the Republic of Kosovo to the entrance of Pristina (the circle).

It has never been the responsibility of the Pristina municipality. It's not even signed by protocol that the flag there should be either way or so. Then he didn't remove the municipality, it was done by the citizens, and they've also attended the national flag. This shows that it is not our responsibility even to return the Kosovo flag. This remains to be discussed in the coming days”, Ahmeti has said.

When Shpend Ahmeti had taken the lead in the Pristina municipality, activists of the Vetevendosje Movement had placed the national flag in that country.
