Lucacek promotes her book on Kosovo

Tonight, on February 14th, on the eve of the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's Declaration of Independence, Austrian politician Ulrike Lunacek makes the promotion of her book dedicated to Kosovo “Frieden Baueen, heisst Weit Bauen” Von Brüssel Inseman Amsselfeld und retour. Kosovo Weg in die EU und mein Beatrag dazu” (“Building peace means building [...]
Kosovo Weg in die EU und mein Beatrag dazu” (“Building peace means building lots of”, with the motto: From Brussels to the land of thorax and behind the Kosovo Road to the EU and my contribution to this direction, writes albinfo.ch.
In this promotion about the book will speak prominent personalities like Wolfgang Petritsch, EU special envoy for Kosovo 1998-1999 and Vedran Dzijic, politicalologist and expert, from Vienna University.
Lunacek is known as Kosovo's witness friend. She has been a rapporteur for Kosovo for several years at the European Parliament and at the same time vice president of the European Parliament.
She has also been chairman of Austria's Green Party at the top of her party's candidate list in last year's parliamentary elections. After losing in the elections mentioned, she has resigned from all political positions.
But, as stated in a statement published today in the Austrian press, she continues to be a political man, writes albinfo.ch. In that sense, Lunacek has made a response to Austrian subkancellar Strache's statement, which had said Kosovo is part of Serbia.
Lunacek has called for more decisive reaction from Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz to his deputy's statement. She has said the Chancellor's silence over the actions of party leaders, who have it in the (FPÖ) coalition, is incomprehensible.
Strache with his statement not only disassembles Austrian foreign policy for the Balkans but also jeopardises Austrian soldiers serving in the Balkans -- knowingly in Kosovo and Bosnia -- has stressed Lunacek. Promotive begins at 6:30 p.m.
