The “Coalation has carried out attacks against aggressive forces,” was cited according to the US military statement. According to them, this attack started on February 7th aimed at warding off the 500 men of the “pro-regime” armed with tanks, artillery and mortars.
The official did not specifically identify the offensive forces, which could be Syrian or one of the militia allies units, including Iraq and Lebanon, which support Assad in the country's seven-year war.
