Law Change Initiatived for Official Festivals

The chairman of this task force was elected member of this commission, Veton Berisha, while other members Mufera Shinik, Danush Ademi, Sasa Milosavlevovic and Jjelal Svecla.

The chairman of the Commission for Rights, the Interests of the Communities, and for Kthim, Igor Sim enemies, said the commission has the potential for changing this law.

“The processing group that will deal with the amendment of the Official Festival Law. I believe the group has been formed to oversee this bill”, he said, KTV reports.

Meanwhile, member Veton Berisha demanded that Egyptian Day also be declared an official holiday in the Republic of Kosovo before June 24th, so that this year's respect will begin.

It's been three or four years, we're marking this day. Based on the constitution, the Egyptian community requires that as soon as this day is introduced to the calendar of official holidays, for this day to be declared an official holiday before June 24th”, he said.

Also assigned during this meeting is the working group for oversight of the Law to fund local governance, led by member Duda Balje.

All in the end, member Veton Berisha called for the participation of Minister of Internal Affairs and Social Goods at the upcoming meeting of this commission, so that it can be discussed also the number of community participants in the Kosovo Police and other institutions.
