Kosovo, over these ten years, was identified in the world with more sports, culture and science figures, as its best ambassadors.

With their individual successes, many of them managed to raise the Kosovo flag in countries where the country's politics and diplomacy could not penetrate.

Kosovo athletes, with their achievements, brought gold medals to Kosovo, affecting the recognition of the state of Kosovo from around the world.

Judith Majlinda Kelmendi, crowned with the world champion and Olympic champion, is just one of many other jungles who, with their success in the field of sports, let the state of Kosovo know.

Kelmendi led the Kosovo flag to rise and honor in two countries that have not recognised it in Russia at the World Championship in 2014, as well as in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the 2016 Olympic Games.

Kosovo is also participating in the Winter Olympics for the first time. Skier Albin Tahiri is the only athlete who is defending the colors of the Kosovo flag in these races.

Kosovo Football Federation Chairman Fadil Vokry, speaking of Radio Free Europe, says athletes have been Kosovo's best ambassadors, during these 10 years of Kosovo's independent state.

“Admittedly, athletes were the ones who established Kosovo at the highest possible pedestal. It is too much to talk about Judisten Majlinda Kelmendi, who was a symbol of Kosovo in this direction. Also, in Paris recently, where Akil Gjakova was adorned with the golden mind and Distria Krasniqi with bronze. I think these successes have made Kosovo more comfortable and Kosovo's image in the international arena has improved to the highest possible”, Vokri says.

Many football players from Kosovo today are idols of the most popular sports fans, either in Switzerland, Albania, as far as Scandivani.

But the sports field is not alone in producing talents. Kosovo today is admired in the world of music when names like Rita Ora and I want Lipa are mentioned. Until, in the film world, Kosovo was successful in the international arena with the film “Shok”, which was nominated for the prestigious “Oscar”, which divides the Film Academy, Picture, Arts and Sciences in Hollywood.

Despite not being crowned with this award, it is considered that this film conveyed a very positive message from and from Kosovo.

The architect and singer from Kosovo, Eliza Hoxha, speaking of Radio Free Europe, says these young people, who with their successes identified Kosovo in the world, have not always been the aid of their development process.

According to her, in most cases these presentations have been willful and willful.

Kosovo has to work further, to have clear what its strengths are, where its youth and its people are better, where they have the will to develop, to create opportunities, or to have a clearer vision of how to stimulate and support their path, so that they can realise themselves, but at the same time, they can also penetrate Kosovo and create a good image of Kosovo even outside the 1118x1>, Hoxha says.

The image of the world's Kosovo is double, Hoxha adds. According to her, Kosovo has many negative confessions in certain cases, especially recently on different issues related to domestic policy.

While the good news we hear is, in most cases it is from the field of sports and culture.

“Normically, there is now an infrastructure, since Majlinda Kelmendi is world champion, then there are other acts behind her, other jungles, numerous musicians like Rame Lahaj, for example, for whom the state of Kosovo has done nothing. He made it all by himself. But, for the sport part, Kosovo is already part of many mechanisms. Gradually, young people have motivation, conveying the pattern of Majlinda and her colleagues to start working harder and follow their dream”, Hoxha adds.

Success has not been missed in the field of technology. Blinera Meta, Dafina Oluri and Blerta Thaci creators of platform “Open Data Kosovo” have been selected among the 30 finalists on Forbes magazine list “30 under 30”, in the “Law and Policy category”.

Despite efforts since Kosovo's 2008 declaration of independence in Kosovo, which was created in the eyes of the world for Kosovo, it still remains gloomy.

Kosovo, has promoted Euro-Atlantic integration as orientation. But new Europeans remain Europe's most isolated outside the visa liberalisation process. While advertising for European integration is challenged by the five EU member states, which do not recognise Kosovo's independence.
