The first independent Kosovo officer, Veton Breznica, has congratulated Kosovars on the 10th anniversary of independence.
Bretnica, which is at the same time a Kosovo airline pilot, has congratulated via a Facebook post.
“Unable to celebrate its 10th anniversary in Pristina, I raised the flag to Doha! Congratulations #Kosovo! #Kosovo10 #10 years of state”, he wrote.
Bretnica has been educated in New Zealand and Britain.
In 2014, he graduated from RAF Cranwell as a pilot officer and qualified as an instructor with glider at the United Kingdom Air Force Flight Central School, where he is an honorary member of the 643 Squad in Sawyer.
