Juncker today in Tirana

Today comes European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker in Tirana. At 5:30 a.m., the state reception ceremony will be organised by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and at 7:15, Rama and Juncker will hold a joint press conference.

European Commission President Juncker, EU Foreign Policy and Security chief Federica Moghrini and Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn have launched a tour of the Balkans starting with Macedonia. Later, in Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and finally Bulgaria.

This tour, starting on February 25th and closing on March 1st, aims at presenting the EU strategy for the Western Balkans.
