Deputy Chairman Haliti and Senator Sonogo discussed current developments in our country and topics that affect the political spectrum and public opinion in general in Kosovo, such as demarcation with Montenegro, rule of the law, visa liberalisation, as well as the need Kosovo has for Italian investments, suggests a statement by the Parliament.
“discussed both, and the Special Court. Deputy Chairman Haliti reiterated his stance against abolishing this court, with conviction that facing the Special Court is in Kosovo's interest. He said it should not be allowed for Kosovo to design the picture to its opponents”, the announcement said.
The Italian Senator, for his part, promised that Italy would support Kosovo in the EU membership process, demanding that the country's institutions fulfil their obligations.
Both conversationators agreed that in the future the two countries would cooperate even more closely in all areas.
