European Union Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, who is staying in Pristina, has made it clear that ratification of the demarcation with Montenegro will not become easier over time. He says now is the time to act.
In a text on the social Twitter network, Johannes Hahn wrote about the debate he was held earlier in the City Library.
“During dialogue with citizens in Pristina: visa liberalisation criteria are adjusted. Decisive handling of the two remaining criteria. The demarcation of the border will not become easier over time. Now is the time to act”, he added.
He stresses once again that besides demarcation, the condition is crime and corruption for visas.
The immediate need to ratify the demarcation was expressed earlier by European Commission President Juncker.
He said it is unfair that only Kosovars remain isolated in the region.
