The groom dies after the wedding gift exploded

A newly married man and his grandmother were killed in India when a gift for his marriage began to explode.

The suspect's wife suffered serious injuries, police have announced.

Soumya Sekhar and Rema Sahu were married on February 18th and accepted the “gift” for marriage several days later, broadcast Albinfo.ch.
There was a bomb that had no sender's address. It exploded as soon as it opened, media reports reported.
Sehu and his 85-year-old grandmother died as a result of injuries.

The motive remains unclear.
