German company builds factories in Serbia, employs 5, 000 workers

The building of the facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019 or early 2020,” told reporters during an facility tour in Nis, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcast.
The factory, he adds, will have 45,000 square metres and will produce cables for Mercedes cars.
“Today in Nis we employ more than 1,000 people and by the end of 2019 it is scheduled to employ 2,200 workers,” said Sacks.
He said Leon currently has 60,000 workers at its factories in Prokuplje, Losinj and Nis.
Sacks has added that Leon has been present in Serbia since 2009.
Sacks said he was extremely pleased with employees in Serbia and with their results, as well as with co-operation with the state, local self-government and the National Employment Service./Periscopi/
