Petritsch: VV out of tradition that the president belongs to other than

Former EU Special Representative for Kosovo Ambassador Wolfgang Petritsch in an interview said that the Vetevendosje Movement must exit the tradition that the president's election alone belongs to the winning election party.
Besides, he added that in Kosovo it is extremely necessary for political parties to co-operate with each other.
“is actually a good idea to think outside the framework, rather than in traditional political ways, that a party -- that is, the winning election party has the right to elect the candidate for president. I think it would be a good idea to look further at it, to see who might be uniting and doing something that's absolutely necessary in Kosovo, and that's to unite people and make parties cooperate”, Petritsch said in Klaankosova.
The ambassador added that Kosovo-Serbia dialogue also remains an unresolved issue, which, according to him, needs progress in this development.
Because the enemy is not in the country, and your challenges come from outside Kosovo. You know the question of dialogue is still unresolved. I recently had a meeting with emissar for dialogue, Sorensen, and he's doing a great job, but he's also thinking that unless there's a clear way, so in pragmatism and progress, then things are going to get worse --”, the diplomat said.
