The Kosovo Justice “show” broadcast the interview with US prosecutor Andrew Hudges, who has been attending for several years already sentenced by the First Case for Drug Trafficking, Naser Kelmendi.

Prosecutor Hoods, in his statement, has shown that he is disappointed that Naser Kelmendi is not convicted of organised crime, but only of narcotics trafficking.

“As the prosecutor of the case, I was glad this defendant was convicted of a drug trafficking indictment. But I am also disappointed that he was not convicted of organised crime and the charge of grave murder against victim Ramiz Delilic, who was considered a great commander and hero during the war in Bosnia”, he said.

Hudges has shown how narcotics traffickers operate in Balkan countries.

He has compared their actions to those of the Italian mafia.

He has cited cases of threats and attempts to eliminate witnesses as one of the forms that, according to him, were made by the Italian mafia.

According to prosecutor Hudges, even buying witnesses is one of the forms the Italian mafia had used.

It's like the classic example of organised crime in Italy, called Omerta, where there's a code of silence, and if someone breaks the silence code, then we'll kill you, kill your family, destroy your property, destroy your reputation, and this is where people are killed, their cars are bombed, they're throwing grenades, the media has destroyed them so they can't find work. So, these are witnesses who can be lured to change their” confession, the prosecutor has stated. EULEX Andrew Hoods.
