Erdogan visits Africa, vows on this issue

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has launched a five-day visit to Africa, which pledged to enhance bilateral ties with African countries. He was hosted with an official ceremony by Abdelkader Bensalah, president of the National Council of Algeria.
After the ceremony, Erdogan left a crown on a monument to martyrs.
Erdogan has also met with Prime Minister Ahmed Oyahija at the Sheraton Hotel at a closed-door meeting.
Erdogan, along with the Algerian prime minister, signed a number of agreements, reports “Hurriyet”, the Periscopi broadcast.
Turkish and Algerian foreign ministers signed a memorandum of understanding for co-operation between the Diplomacy Academy of Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Algeria Ministry's Institute of Diplomatic and International Relations.
A memorandum of understanding regarding co-operation in agriculture was signed between the two countries' agriculture ministers.
Culture ministers signed a co-operation protocol to exploit the common heritage between Turkey and Algeria.
Erdogan's tournament will mark Turkey's second presidential trip to Algeria, as well as such first visits to Mauritania and Mali. /Periscopi/
