Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini has been hosting a meeting with Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, with whom he has talked about co-operation between the two countries.
Wessel and Markovic stressed that Kosovo and Montenegro are friendly states, which have helped and are helping each other in Euro-Atlantic integrations.
The meeting has also discussed the demarcation as an open issue between the two countries. They stressed willingness to resolve any issues between the parties, including the demarcation.
Wessel stressed the need for this agreement to be ratified in the Kosovo Assembly and for both countries -- Kosovo and Montenegro -- in addition to Euro-Atlantic integration -- to work closely at strengthening economic reports.
He also said that the Albanian community in Montenegro and Montenegro in Kosovo serve as solid bridges for further advancement of these relations.
Prime Minister Wessel considered Montenegro's decisions on establishing the Albanian majority municipality of Tuzi's positive and important, and the adoption of the decision, which envisions the officialism of the Albanian language in municipalities in which Albanians make up over five percent of the population.
The first of the Parliament also stressed the importance of making the Decan-Plav road as fast as possible, which, as he said, would significantly facilitate citizens' circulation on both sides of the border, but would have positive effects even in trade exchange between the two states.
Montenegro's prime minister praised the reports between the two countries as very friendly, expressing Montenegro's commitment to helping Kosovo on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration.
