However, it seems that not all in Croatia agree.
Former Croatian Prime Minister Fred Matic views this proposal as meaningless.
“If we ask for compensation for crimes committed in the 1990s in Croatia by Serbs, then they will seek compensation for World War II, then we will seek for World War I”, Matic told N1.
He also says Vuciq will not be expected with protests in Croatia.
If the church and the main parties do not support the protest, then it would not be observed. It would be like: We protested, but he came”, the former Croatian minister is expressed away.
He believes Vuciki's visit will not solve anything -- and since the Serbian president would have to send data to missing persons, Matic does not believe that such a thing will happen on the part of Vuciqi.
Vuciq visits Croatia at the invitation of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, where he is expected to meet the country's prime minister as well as representatives of the Orthodox Church in Zagreb.
