In an interview for Periscope, Deda has voiced distrust that the initiative is failed until there is formal withdrawal from it.
He has said that this withdrawal should take place before February 20th, when the government should give its opinion on the bill that was prosecuted by the Parliament.
The important thing is that by February 20th, when the Government should give its opinion on the draft amendment to the Special Court, political parties which have sponsored that law to make a decision to withdraw from this legal initiative. They have to leave the country formally that initiative does not come to the Kosovo Assembly at all, because in order the Government must give a thought and return it to the Parliament and to believe that Thaci and the others have really given up on the abolition of the Special Court, PDK and AAK should formally make a decision to withdraw from this” initiative, Deda said.
President Hashim Thaci was one of the supporters of this initiative, but a few days ago he has changed his stance, saying that the Special should not be abolished.
In an attempt to abolish the Special, there was a major reaction of the international community. Ambassadors of the allies said that if the abolition occurs, international support for Kosovo could be withdrawn. /Periscopi/
