At this meeting, I propose the temporary suspension for salary hikes until the Constitutional Court makes the decision. Unfortunately, except those at this table from this decision are deeply affected by the justice system, the judiciary and the prosecution. The suspension decision is motivated in respect of the” institutions, Haradinaj said.
The constitutional court has said this request has already been prosecuted and recorded by the Court.

According to them, the requirement will be considered and the decision will be taken in line with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, the Law on the Constitutional Court and the Court's rule of work.
The decision made by Haradinaj Government in December 2017 is said to benefit from the salary hike, the prime minister, deputy prime ministers, ministers, advisers and support staff in ministerial cabinets.
Against this decision, 30 Parliament deputies have emerged who have applied for assessing the constitutionality of this decision. That the decision is partly a conflict of interest, the Anti-Corruption Agency has also said.
