Former Commander General KLA delivers message for jail demarcation

One of the Kosovo Liberation Army's war emblems, Sylejman Selimi, has called on Kosovo Parliament deputies to ratify the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro.

Selimi, in a statement from prison, calls on Kosovo politics that “release people from prison”.

Sylejman Selimi, who is serving a war crimes sentence, has today made a statement on the Gazette Express calling on MPs to vote for demarcation with Montenegro.

He is currently in Dubrava prison and his message to Kosovo politicians is extremely emotional.

“Vocate demarcation”, he said, exclusively for Gazette Express.

“Release the people from prison”, added the former Kosovo Liberation Army General Commander.

Selimi has said Montenegro has opened the way for Kosovo to complete this process, which is leaving Kosovo isolated from the world.

Let them sit down with Montenegro, let them clarify the dilemmas that remain of”.

Selimi added that the ideal of the KLA fighters has been the people's freedom.

The license of the people of Kosovo has been our ideal”, he has said.

The Deputates shouldn't make us sick. Every soldier of The KLA that is in the country today must know what we have been fighting for. We didn't do this to isolate ourselves from the world”, Selimi declared.
