Today there will be hearings against Shefqet Krasniqi, who is accused of pushing for terrorist acts, inciting hatred, division or national, racial, religious and tax evasion.
In Krasniqi's trial, guests to the tribunal are expected to testify by the Kosovo Special Prosecutor.
At last session, a witness claimed his brother joined the war in Syria, prompted by Shefqet Krasniqi's speeches.
At the session held on December 14, 2017, KALLXO.com reported that Shefqet Krasniqi was acquitted of the charges he was charged with.
The indictment states that the push to carry out terrorist acts has been carried out between 2013 and 2014, while the crime of tax evasion carried out from 2011 to 2016.
Always according to the indictment, Shefqet Krasniqi, in the quality of the large mosque imam “Mehmet Fatih” in Pristina, has consistently and deliberately distributed messages to the public. Through his direct presentations to the public through various speeches, as well as by exploiting social networks and other information tools, through the rude language and the interpretation of Koran verses outside the time context and the principled Islamic spirit, has led others to take the path to the conflict zone in Syria and Iraq and then commit terrorist acts. According to the indictment, Krasniqi has singled out several religious groups as enemies of Muslims-Sunni, promoting and spreading hatred, divisions and non-compliance against other religious groups, who also live in the Republic of Kosovo.
Likewise, the high-ranking defendant, both taxpayer and business owner N.T. “Portat”, has concealed and avoided tax, deliberately provided inaccurate data, and did not declare other relevant data regarding tax obligations, avoiding tax obligations at a total price of 20,208.57.
All these claims of the Kosovo Special Prosecutor's Act have been denied by Krasniqi, who has been declared innocent.
KA LLXO.com has consistently reported on the course of the investigation against Shefqet Krasniqi, while reporting can be found in this link.
