The chief opponent who did not refuse Thaci's decoration

At the time the number of personalities who are rejecting President Hashim Thaci's decorations on Kosovo's 10th anniversary of independence is someone who says he will not do so.

Former Speaker of the Parliament Nexhat Daci says he will accept the decoration the president has shared for him, as for hundreds more.

Nexhat Daci says he himself is one of the founders of Kosovo institutions, so he respects them.

It says it will act in the case of its decoration by President Hashim Thaci, on the 10th anniversary of Independence.

“I am the founder of institutions, I respect institutions, so I have neither refused nor refused, I intend to refuse”, former Kosovo Assembly Chairman Nexhat Daci told Express on Wednesday.

But, like Daci, some of the former associates Hashim Thaci have not acted, who have rejected such decorations.

Jakup Kranqi, Fatmir Limaj, Sylejman Selimi, Hyseni Hyseni Hyseni's wife, has responded to the presidency's decoration. So have Veton Surroi, Rex Selimi, and Agim Zatriqi's wife, as did the heads of the newspaper “Koha Ditore “of radio “Free Kosovo”.

The reason for all was almost that Thaci is not worthy to be decorated for their contributions to freedom and statehood.

And the rejection of the President's decorations has made him nervous. Thaci has reacted late Tuesday to Facebook, saying the people who are claiming to have rejected presidential decorations are in fact just proposed for taking medals on the 10th anniversary of Independence.

Some statements of individuals are incorrect. No one can refuse the decoration without being decorated”, Thaci wrote.

I understand the frustration of some, but according to my criteria, you cannot be decorated by the state of Serbia for contributing to Yugoslavia and Kosovo at the same time. [...] Rejecters won't get public answers because I don't want to hurt them. The decorated will be officially notified”, writes the president in his reaction.

However, at the Presidency's announcement last week, it has become known that the names distributed to the public are decorated and not proposed.
