An Albanian with dual identity, who has been sentenced in absentia to 23 years in Italy, has returned to Belgium. In 2000, Erjon S., along with two other Albanians Robert Z., and Fatmir V., killed a prostitute from South America. Two months later, Italian police managed to identify the suspected authors. In April 2003, the Italian court sentenced Erjon S., to 23 years in prison, in absentia. After 17 years on the run, he was arrested in the town of Wervik in Belgium.
