In the 19 Parliament's obligations and requirements for Kosovo institutions, mainly for the Government, almost all the recommendations of MPs that have taken part in the debate held at the extraordinary session, which has been held at the request of Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli and 39 other deputies, writes Koha Ditore today.
Although the debate has been named of high importance, throughout the time it was held Thursday, the number of deputies in the Assembly Hall has been brought to about 35 deputies. The absence of MPs has also been cited by some MPs who have debated. The quorum has only been achieved to vote on the resolution. Timelines have been set in some required measures, while during the debate it has been required that a rough budgetary cost be set for each measure, as such, have not been done.
At the first point of this resolution, the Parliament has decided to make environmental protection a state priority for the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. The government has also been asked to review and complete additional measures in the Strategy for Environmental Protection within the first quarter of this year. It is required that the appropriate quality electrofiles in KEK thermal power plants be installed by the end of 2018.
