The embassies of France, Germany, Italy the United Kingdom and the United States of America in Kosovo, through a joint statement have welcomed recent statements by Kosovo political leaders pledging to give up efforts to abolish the Specialised Chambers.
We expect Kosovo leaders to keep their word, while Kosovo institutions expect them to honour that readiness. Only by supporting the rule of law and ensuring justice for all victims can Kosovo affirm its maturity as a state and readiness to integrate completely into Europe and the international community”, the QUINT country statement said.
The statement stresses that with the support of the Specialised Chambers, continued support from Kosovo's closest friends and allies is possible now when we celebrate many achieved in the decade, since independence.
