Over 77 thousand Kosovars enter Albania only during January

Kosovo holds first place for the number of entrys in Albania for the first month of 2018, with an increase of 34.3% compared to the same period last year, Koha Ditore writes today. Based on figures published by the Albanian Statistical Institute, the number of entrys from Kosovo to Albania for January 2018 is 77,221 persons, out of 57,482 persons registered in January 2017. In second place is Macedonia, which has the largest growth of 47.2% compared to a year ago.

Kosovo, however, has a figure of 207.5% higher in the number of entrys to Albania than Macedonia and the second country. The third country for the number of entrys in Albania keeps Greece with 30,916 people and with an increase of 31.5% compared to the same period a year ago.

While fourth place keeps Montenegro with 27.879 people entering Albania in January, recognising an increase of 34.3% compared to January 2017.
