There were about 1,300 miners who had entered this strike to protect Kosovo's existence and its autonomy.
The historic strike of the “Three miners of 1989 had turned into a popular democratic and peaceful resistance against Serbia's pressure to re-cut Kosovo.
In the case of this anniversary, the traditional manifesto “The Java of Minors” is organised.
Miners today will also visit Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
