Fifteen Russian workers in Syria by a private insurance company have been killed as a result of the missile explosion at a depot at their base, according to the monitoring group, reports The Guardian”, broadcast Periscopi.
The incident has occurred at the site of the weapons depot at Tabiya Yazira in the northeastern province of Dir Ezador, Britain-based Observatory for Human Rights reports.
“Based Russian employees of a private insurance company have been killed as a result of an explosion on an arms base in Tabiya Jahira in Deir Ezador province,” says agency “France-Press”.
Russian workers were accompanying the regime forces as they advanced towards the oil and gas fields on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, which was controlled by the Democratic Forces of Syria (SDF), a US-backed alliance of Arab and Kurdish fighters./Periscopi/
