Trade ministry warns measures for oilers abusing prices

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), following accurate analysis of the current situation, warns the enterprise of action and measures including eventual interventions in order not to allow the abuse of oil prices to harm consumers.

Reminding that the priority remains consumer protection in the Kosovo market, including that of fuels, the MTI suggests that it has taken a series of decisions protecting consumers, which are not limited to specific areas, but how the approach will include all areas for which it is working every day.

As for media writings and debates and public opinion on oil prices in recent days, the MTI explains that it is analyzing current legislation including Article 11 of the Oil Trade Law, which had never been applied until now, even though history has provided evidence that the price of the international fuel market has always moved. /Periscopi
