This will be an opportunity to assess the current state of relations between the EU and Kosovo, the Stabilisation and Association Council said.
“Under the Stabilisation and Association Process, participants will consider political and economic criteria, financial co-operation and implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement,” said in the statement.
EU representatives, led by European diplomacy chief Federica Moghrini and Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, will discuss the situation in the Western Balkans with the Pristina delegation, led by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
After that, a joint press conference is envisioned.
Before the meeting, Moghrin and Hahn sent a letter to Prime Minister Haradinaj explaining the EU's stance on tariffs to Serbian goods and repeating the call for their removal.
“Letra also reiterates the offer made by commissionary Hahn in Pristina, which refers to the right way to resolving Pristina's concerns and the congratulations of Prime Minister Haradinaj for dedication to dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina,” said EU spokeswoman Maja Kocijanciac.
Otherwise, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has repeated several times so far, that the 100 per cent move on Serbian goods will be lifted only when Serbia makes the decision to recognise our state.
