The Student Parliament of the University of Pristina has started the protest march by the Faculty of Philosophy to the European Union Office in Pristina to ask for the removal of the visa regime that is imperiling Kosovars the free movement in Europe.
10 years after Kosovo's independence, Kosovo has still received the green light for visa liberalisation, although the criteria ahead have reportedly been met.
On the part of the EU, it was mentioned 2020 as the most realistic for achieving liberalisation.
On the other hand, Kosovo's prime minister had stated days earlier that he believes liberalisation will happen this year.
