The number of recognitions for Kosovo continues to decline. Kohavision has provided a withdrawal of recognition, which Kosovo institutions have accepted.
It's about the Solomon Islands, a sovereign state in the ocean that has sent the recognition note during the week.
The diplomatic note, which KTV has exclusively secured, on November 28th has accepted the Kosovo Embassy in Canberra, Australia.
In fact, there are two paperwork -- the first of the Solomon Islands office in Australia -- that says it is sending Kosovo the decision to withdraw recognition from the State Foreign Ministry.
On diplomatic note 02./18, the Solomon Islands Foreign Ministry originally refers to establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries in April 2015.
Next, announce the decision made and the reasons for it.
“The Foreign Ministry and the Foreign Trade of the Solomon Islands has the honour of informing the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Kosovo, since after careful review and considering the continuation of negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina on Kosovo's final status and UN Security Council Resolution 1244, the government of the Solomon Islands has decided to withdraw recognition of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state. The decision taken by the Solomon Islands remains in force until negotiations under the mediation of the European Union” are completed, the letter says.
The Foreign Ministry in Pristina has denied receiving this document.
“On official channels the Foreign Ministry has not accepted any official documents concerning the issue you refer to. We consider all of this to be the continuation of Serbian propaganda”, has told KTV, the director of the communications office in MPJ, Sami Kastrati.
Serbia claims that some countries such as Grenada, Dominique, Suriname, Liberia, Sao Tome and Príncipe, Guinea é Bissau, Burundi, Papua Neo Guinea and Lesto have reversed their decision to recognise the Republic of Kosovo.
The ministry, led by Pacolli, has repeatedly called false news and accused Serbia of counterfeiting the documents of attracting recognitions addressed to Serbia's Foreign Ministry.
But, this of the Solomon Islands, which had recognised Kosovo in August 2014, is the first to become public that it was sent to Kosovo institutions.
