Shortly before death, 87-year-old tears into neighbors with surprises

A man shortly before his death prepared Christmas presents for 14 years for his two-year-old neighbour.

87-year-old Ken Watson watched Cadi William grow up and give him some gifts before he died. The presents will last until Cardi is 16. The beautiful surprise was discovered by Ken's daughter who handed it over to the neighbors.

Cadis ' parents, Owen and Caroline Williams, were comforted to see the presents.

He was coming in with a plastic bag and I thought they were trash and he'd ask me to throw them away. But she told me it was all that her father had set aside for Caddy. It was all the Christmas gifts he had bought for her. At that moment my wife was in Face Time talking to her mother in Ireland. She and her mother began to tear. It's hard to describe because it was unexpected. I don't know how long he set it aside”, said the girl's father.

The 87-year-old became a widow after his wife Meryl died in February 2012.
