When you're pregnant, there's a list of things you shouldn't do, such as smoking, drinking, eating sushi, etc.
However, there are other things about which people have different opinions, such as the use of auna/jacus, painting, etc.
Among them is the coloring of the hair, which is worried that it contains chemicals that can be absorbed by a mother's scalp and access their bloodstream and may well reach the fetus.
But how true is this?
According to health experts, chemicals in permanent, non-human hair colors are not overly toxic. Most research, although limited, shows that hair color is safe during your pregnancy.
Too much hair chemical use can be harmful to the baby, but it must be in massive doses.
However, if you are truly concerned that hair color can affect your baby, wait until you are at least 12 weeks pregnant, since the risk of child damage by chemicals is much smaller after that period.
