Don't wear black socks on the plane, that's why

From receiving a tennis ball in the trunk of the hand (a travel trick proved by some travelers) to avoiding alcohol during flight, there are many unwritten rules for a more comfortable flight trip.
But now, former cabin crew member British AirwaysChris Mayor, who has worked for the company for over 17 years, has added a new advice: Do not wear black socks during flight.
If you are of those who prefer to take off shoes on the trip, you may be interested in that advice.
According to Major, black socks can be a “bezdi” and even a “risk “on the plane, especially during overnight flights, writes MetroKlankosova broadcast.tv.
He explains:
“On overnight flights, cabin lighting is low and dark-colored socks lose in shadow. The problem begins when passengers spread their legs out into the hallway. Under these conditions, the crew may not notice your feet until the last moment. ”
The consequences? The crew members may stumble, disrupting the quiet in the cabin and waking up passengers who are sleeping.
This is not about fashion. It's about visibility, he says. “In a narrow corridor, the crew moves fast, often holding hot drinks and working between bags, elbows, and semisleep passengers. Anything that is difficult to detect at floor level can become cause for an accident. ”
But they are not the only ones who can be touched. If your feet do not look good, you too may suffer a blow from the food cart or the drink that passes through the corridor.
So for a safer and more comfortable flight:
Avoid extension of feet in the hallway
consider compressive socks on long flights;
and if you remove your shoes, you may choose socks that are more visible than black.
