Pantina says full responsibility for dialogue belongs to Negotiator Team

PSD MP Shqipe Pantina has said full responsibility for dialogue with Serbia would meet the Negotiator Team, elected Saturday from the Kosovo Assembly.

At KTV Express, Pantina has said the team, which will have two leaders -- PSD's Shpend Ahmeti and Fatmir Limaj of the Initiative -- will lead the dialogue, while the agreements that can be reached should receive the support of the Assembly.

The full responsibility for dialogue belongs to the team. I don't know what the team representing Serbia will be. The Kosovo team will have two leaders. Ahmeti and Limaj and each member will have their own role. The president has his specific responsibilities in the constitution, but dialogue will be led by the negotiating team. It is finally coming back under the supervision of the” Parliament, Pantina said, adding that “does not know what President Hashim Thaci will do, but that the majority-vote Assembly has decided to lead the dialogue by the team he has voted”.

It has not ruled out co-operation with the prime minister's president, but has added that even within the Negotiator Team, any decision should be made by consensus.

According to Pantina, the resolution voted on Saturday differs from others because it is meant to become the law. He has said that at the end of the dialogue process, Serbia must recognise Kosovo as a state and that Kosovo should join the UN.

As far as male domination of this team is concerned, Pantina has said she hopes at least two empty countries will be held by women.

Pantina: Ahmeti as a good manager to delegate municipal affairs to the deputy mayors

Commenting on the numerous words that Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti cannot exercise his duty after taking over the role of co-chairman of the Negotiator Team, PSD deputy Shqipe Pantina, has said a good manager should submit duties to his team.

A good manager is the one who can delegate tasks to his team. There's a professional team. There are two vice-presidents who can delegate what he can't do during his commitment. There will be no kind of lack of Ahmeti because of his new commitment. The chairman must be the manager who can also delegate” tasks, she said.

Pantina has added how the PSD will not join the Haradinaj government.
