Children who are obese have 30% more chances of developing asthma.
This is because, say experts, about 1 in 10 asthma cases is caused by overweight.
Simply put, 10% of children can avoid symptoms of this disease by simply losing weight.
At present, in Britain alone, one in four children are overweight or obese.
Asthma is the number one chronic disease in children, and although the cause of this disease, such as genetics and viral infections are things that we cannot prevent, at least we can prevent obesity, which is an important risk factor.
This is another evidence that children should be active and have wholesome weight. /Telegraphy/
