The Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica during November has filed nine counts of domestic violence.

According to a media report, this prosecutor accepted 13 cases described as domestic violence in November.

The procedure in the case of the establishment of these charges has been requested by the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica, that the defendants be found guilty of criminal acts that are placed in burden and the same be punished according to law”, the statement said.

Mitrovica's Constitutional Prosecutor has indicated that he has hired a prosecutor to deal exclusively with these cases and that “these cases in this prosecutor are handled with priority”.
