Immediately after tomorrow's vote on three bills that are expected to open the doors to the founding of the Kosovo Army, respectively, the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force mission, the Government will propose the management of the dialogue team between Kosovo and Serbia.
This has been made known to Periscope sources, who say there is already an agreement between the Government and the opposition to move on with team welfare and open the doors and continuation of dialogue, which is also being sought by international actors, especially the European Union.
Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, today, also announces that he has presented before the states of Qut, draft agreement with Serbia.
“Today, in front of the ambassadors of the Quint countries, I have submitted the first draft of the Legally Competent Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia. This draft document is a supporting document for the existing dialogue process, as well as aspects that are related to accelerating this process. Technical Dialogue chief Avni Arifi has introduced the chapters, which for us will constitute the main parameters of the agreement, which will pave the way for normalisation between Kosovo and Serbia. The document with the accompanying annexes has also been handed over to all carriers of institutions and heads of all political subjects. In the coming days and weeks, this draft document will be discussed with all parties in our society, to get to the final document, including the expertise of all”, Haradinaj said over a post on his Facebook account.
Meanwhile, the head of the negotiating team, repossessed by the Government, the chairman of the government NISMA and Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj have already made a public appeal to vote on the negotiating team immediately following the vote on the draft laws to establish the Army.
The chairman of the Social Democrat Initiative and Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj has stressed that Kosovo has two very important topics before it.
The “is the voting of the law package, which transforms the KSF into Army and dialogue with Serbia”, Limaj has said.
The negotiating team has already joined the PSD from the opposition. It is Shpend Ahmeti, chairman of this subject, who is expected to head the negotiating team along with Limaj.
The team joined Veton Surroi in the expert's quality. Until the LDK and Vetevendosje have declared they will not join the Government for dialogue.
