Lama wants help from the state: My children are under threat of schooling

Former Kosovo Ambassador to Italy Alma Lama has reacted back as she calls éspeculations about Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's decision to suspend her term as ambassador, Periskopi reports. Lama has said she is still in office and that she represents the state of Kosovo in Italy, Malta [...]
Lama has said she is still in office and that she represents the state of Kosovo in Italy, Malta and San Marino, until she has announced that the reason for her silence following the president's decision has been because she has decided to pursue institutional ways to learn the reasons for his decision.
She has also told of the difficulties she is facing following this decision to terminate her mandate.
The “Mbi all this decision has an extraordinary family impact, as diplomatic posts are family posts; missions are moved along with family. As a result, my children have to discontinue schooling and risk losing their school year. I've asked the ministry to consider these circumstances until the end of the school year. The state of Kosovo has legal obligations to its citizens, including me and my children”, writes Lama, among other things.

Declaration concerning the interruption of my mandate from ambassador's post in Italy
Your Honor,
Following the decision of the president of the Republic a week ago, for the premature interruption of my mandate as RKS Ambassador to Italy, I have preferred to silence and follow institutional ways to learn the reasons for this decision.
But because it's constantly being speculated by the media about my motives and my name and not only that much, but it's trying to dance with some kind of slander, I'm obliged to give this statement:
As soon as I officially received an MPJ decree, I have written down from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the President's motives for suspending the mandate, as well as reviewing the decision.
I have also met with Minister Pacolli in Pristina physically, and I have spoken my mind to reason on the decision. Until now, I have neither written nor spoken of any reasoning.
Above all, this decision has an extraordinary family impact, as diplomatic posts are family posts; missions are moved along with family. As a result, my children have to discontinue schooling and risk losing their school year.
I've asked the ministry to consider these circumstances until the end of the school year. The state of Kosovo has legal obligations towards its citizens, including me and my children.
I've fought for other people's rights all my life, and it's close to thinking that I'm going to ask for my rights and my children in all institutions.
Despite the decision, I strongly believe in the state of Kosovo and its democratic values.
One thing is certain, this decision does not relate to my work as head of the diplomatic mission in Italy, which without modesty I say has been distinct and for which I have evidence of all reports sent to the ministry and public activities.
I have made a four-year contract with the state of Kosovo, and for my part this contract has been fully respected. I have represented the Republic of Kosovo with maximum dignity and for the work I have done I am extremely proud.
In the end, I publicly appeal to stop speculation, slander, ballet, insinuations of any nature to my name.
I am still in office and represent the state of Kosovo in Italy, Malta and San Marino.
With respect,
Alma Lama, Rome 04/12/2018
