KSF Minister Reagon: We're gonna do the Army!

KSF Minister Rrustem Berisha has reacted to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's statements regarding the formation of the Kosovo Army.

Secretary - General NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, has stated yesterday that the transformation of KSF into the military is taking place at inappropriate times, and this could have serious consequences for the country.

Kosovo Security Force Minister Rrustem Berisha has commented on NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's statements regarding the military issue.

Berisha has said that the KSF cannot remain forever with its current mission.

If now is not the time, ask the question when is the time for this to happen? We cannot wait to time indefinite and remain with the current” mission, Berisha declared for “Zerin”.

Nevertheless, Berisha has voiced confidence that there will be no breach of reports with Kosovo strategic partners.

To make any decision to reduce the co-operation we have must have the compatibility of all states that are part of NATO. We have the support of powerful states that are within NATO”, he stressed, adding that Kosovo institutions have agreed with NATO since the beginning.

Even according to him, Kosovo has consistently had co-operation with NATO, even during the previous years.

Regarding the army issue during Wednesday, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has also been declared, who has said the army is being made to preserve peace, not to occupy Kosovo's north, as Serbian media are declaring.
