Kosovo government calls Petrovic's ban in Merdare unattended

The government of the Republic of Kosovo with concern has accepted information today that at the border crossing in Merdare, MP Slobodan Petrovic has been banned from Serbian police for no reason and that the same has been kept for hours at this crossing. The government claims this is not the first time citizens of the Republic of Kosovo [...]
The government states this is not the first time citizens of the Republic of Kosovo -- namely, those of the Serb community -- who work through Kosovo institutions and are subject to investigations, mistreatment and insults by Serbian authorities.
The government calls today's case tolerable and requires that these practices on Serbia's part be cut off as soon as possible, and that no Kosovo citizen, from any ethnic affiliation, will have such problems.
Serbia must understand for good that such situations do not contribute to good neighbourlyity.
