About 400 complaints against judges and prosecutors have been handed over to the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office (ZPD) from January to November. Acting director of the Prosecutor's Office of Disciplinary Office (ZPD) Arian Salihu claims that during this period about 300 different complaints have been addressed in the ZPD only against Kosovo judges.
However, he has clarified that out of 274 investigations, most of them have been rejected and closed.
Only 2 of these subjects, according to Salih, were sent to the Disciplinary Commission of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KGJK).
“
After conducting disciplinary investigations, the ZPD has sent 2 courses for disciplinary procedure to the KDR Disciplinary Commission, while eight disciplinary fallouts have been closed without finding improper behavior. Also, 174 subjects have been refused after the preliminary disciplinary investigation. The works that have been investigated are established in the Law for the Kosovo Judicial Council, Article 34”, Salihu has said.
