Two policemen, senior officials in Ferizaj Police, have physically clashed with each other.

The beating allegedly took place at a bar outside their working hours last week.

Muhamet Jahiri, captain of the Ferizaj police station and Kadri Kadriu, chief of serious crimes, is suspected of having physically clashed with each other in a coffee shop. Police, according to witnesses who didn't want to talk to the camera, were on the scene. But the case in the 24-hour police report was reported without the initials of persons involved in this case.

The Police Inspector has stayed at Ferizaj Police Station.

This, KTV has confirmed Basri Shaban, responsible for this police station, but did not want to talk more about the matter.

In short, however, it has said that the two police members from this region allegedly intervened during a clash of several others.

Meanwhile, the police inspectors have confirmed the case, but because of the investigation, they haven't provided any details.

Kosovo's “Police Inspectorate has initiated a case concerning this incident, and IPK investigators are taking investigative action in consultation with the competent prosecutor. Because of the integrity of the investigative process, at this stage, we cannot provide more”, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate says.

This was confirmed by Ferizaj's Founding Attorney.

“Ende we have no detailed information, the Police Inspectorate has been authorized for the investigation action company”, Shukri Jashar, chief prosecutor of Ferizaj Prosecutor, said.

However, after collecting information about this event, depending on the investigation findings, the police inspector may also initiate disciplinary measures against police involved in beatings.
