Three days before Christmas, <x0... Jeleke Vervet” significantly reduced French again took to the streets to protest for the sixth weekend in a row, already targeting the border points, while a fatal road accident took the number of victims to 10, since the launch of this anti-Maron movement last month.
About 38 thousand and 600 French took part in the protests this Saturday in France, in several cities in the country, many times less than 66 thousand protesters last weekend, according to figures released by the Interior Ministry. She also added that 220 people were cuffed throughout the country, 81 of whom continue to remain in detention cells.
The number of demonstrators has been on the decline ever since the record figure of 282 thousand people in the first Saturday protest against the planned increase in fuel prices on November 17th.
The movement, characterised by the phosphoren yellow vests worn by protesters, later turned into a nationwide demonstration against President Macron's policies and his ruling style.
Health Minister Agnes Buzyn told “Le Journal du Dimanche” that the Macedonian government “was in the same line as Yelek Verdex3> requests, while calling for the most constructive “dialog”.
Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, meanwhile, speaking of the same newspaper, said his relationship with Macronin was only “intensible” during this crisis, instead of deteriorating as reported in the media. “We speak daily and have learned many new things recently”, he said.
In Paris, the scene of violent confrontations during previous demonstrations, some 2,000 protesters joined groups of people on several streets, compared to 4,000 during the past week.
And despite the least number, once the twilight in the famous “Champs Elysees” erupted again, causing the closure of shops and businesses that were still open over the weekend before Christmas.
Parisian police said they have arrested 142 persons, 19 of whom remain in custody, including the head of “jerks” Eric Druet. Government spokesman Benjamin Griveaux used social networks to write that “behind violence concealed the same cowardly, racist, anti-semitic and Pucciist face”. /Periscopi
