Brazilian has had mixed years. He enjoyed the fantastic season with the SPG in France, but suffered badly at the World Cup with Brazil. These results placed it 12th on the Golden Ball list, where the triumph came to Real midfielder Luka Modric.
As the stars were listed on the red carpet Monday, Neymar had boycotted the ceremony to broadcast his game to “Call of Duty”.
The 26-year-old expects sports stars and others to broadcast their games directly on the “Twitch” platform.
But unless he wanted it for the Golden Ball, Neymar failed the video game after his character sank for 10 minutes.
Even Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messin were not present for the prize.
