About 250 employees of the state utility company The PLN took part in the Indonesian band 17 concert in Tanjung Lesung for a last-year event, company spokesman Made Supratteka told Reuters, Periscopi broadcast.
At least seven people were killed, and about 89 of them disappeared after the disaster on the scene near the sea.
“The water rose and pulled all to location. We've lost loved ones, including our bassist and manager, and others are missing”, he said.
At least 168 people were killed and more than 700 injured, and hundreds of homes and other buildings were damaged by the tsunami.
Authorities warned residents and tourists in coastal areas about the Sunda Strait to stay away from beaches.
