Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group chief Glauk Konjufca, during the parliamentary debate over Kosovo's failure to ensure visa liberalisation, has said European Union officials have said much gold that they do not want to give Kosovo visa liberalisation because of the Government.
“That's such a misery that EU officials say so, Kosovo has met the conditions, but even though it has met the terms of liberalisation we do not give them. This is like visiting with a pencil changing Government”, Conjufca said.
He has also remembered that former Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci had said liberalisation would occur in 2009, yet the Guide for Liberalisation who had come to Kosovo in 2012.
According to him, all governments with order since then have given the same lie to Kosovo citizens.
When this promise was made by the then prime minister, three Governments have passed so far, and Commissioner Hahn told us there is no visa liberalisation will not be possible until 2020. Imagine the promise of visas has yet to come our visa liberalisation guide. The guide had arrived in 2012, and I remember that we had debates in this country when the guide came to what the criteria Kosovo must meet for visa liberalisation to happen, Conjufca said.
He has also recalled that the current prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, had said that following the demarcation vote with Montenegro, liberalisation would occur within three months.
The currently demarcation with Montenegro passed last year, commissionor Hahn said we would not have visa liberalisation by 2020, and this indicates no seriousness of this government and these politicians. Coalition PAN government has dropped that they are aware of making visa liberalisation decisions and are not aware of making major decisions. The word when you say so much that it torments many citizens of Kosovo, all politicians have to go ahead of Kosovo and the market why they have deceived citizens”, he has said, demanding new elections and new Government.
