Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati has made the balance of 2018, which closed with his dismissal from office. Bushat also delivered a message to Albanians before it wished New Year's Eve, broadcasts Top Channel.
Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati's full appointment:
The end is the moment of reflection and appreciation for what we've accomplished, but what we should do best next. We are leaving behind a year of challenges to statehood reforms. These reforms, like any radical and transforming change, have faced resistance and doubt, but our society's insistence and will to move forward remains steadfast.
Because of this will, implementing reform institutions in justice began their work; the dynamic process of analyzing the compatibility of our legislation with the European one (screen) day is pointing out the need for a molecular reform of the way institutions and public life function, as it prepares us for starting EU membership talks in 2019.
The year 2018 consolidated Albania's contribution to peace and security not only in the region. For the first time, our country takes the lead in an important international organisation extending from Vancouver to Vladivostok, such as O SBE. With the direction of this organisation, Albania enters a crucial and irreversible phase, in the phase of contributing to European security architecture.
Last year's holidays are also an excellent opportunity to stay closer to each other by reflecting on what we leave behind, but also about future challenges. We Albanians need to talk to each other more, and learn from each other. But the most important thing is that we listen to each other.
Albanians, wherever they are located in the region, even during the 2018 resort, indicated they remain the most stable pro-European Atlantic factor. Refusing at the same time to establish as collateral historical achievements since the fall of the iron curtain.
This vocality, as natural as even pragmatistic, should constitute our strong motivation and orientation to work together for the consolidation of reforms; for the life of the only realistic project, for joining the common European family; for the creation of a stable perspective of education and employment, primarily for our young people; for strengthening democracy and society of equal prospects; and for the progress of the rights of Albanians everywhere.
I wish to congratulate all Albanians wherever they live and work a good year and filled with achievements and moments of joy.
I wish foreign service a successful year ago.
Let us work together for a better future for us and our children. /Periscopi
