There are various wedding customs, but the reason this custom was born is far from romantic.
The crowning would have to present the happiest day in the life of the bride and groom.
Every bride is said to be the most beautiful bride, and so she is, on that day, enlightened by her distinctness and self - confidence. Have you ever wondered, though, what will habits that we so foolishly practice mean?
From Roman times the veil is carried, even though the reason for it is not as fabulous and romantic as we thought it would be. At that time, females from head to heel have been covered in red cloth.
The fabric had to present the bride into the fire so that she could remove and intimidate all evil spirits who would like to cast a curse on the couple.
In time and with the change of fashion, brides have begun carrying veils to protect themselves from evil spirits.
Until today, the veil is carried to cover the faces of the groom in cases of marriage with the letter.
Today, more often than not, the veil represents more access and jewelry than symbolizing old customs.
Exceptions can be found in Jewish culture, where brides wear veil so that the public can be shown that the groom does not marry the bride because of her physical appearance.
However, we find each bride most beautiful, yet the veil, at least seemingly, is the soft, romantic and fairytale detail of each crown.
